Seongnam FC’s U-12 team has won the 2023 National Primary Soccer League Region 4 title.
The Seongnam U-12 team continued to build on the reputation of Seongnam’s youth teams by winning the regional title with an average of 5.5 goals per game. This is the result of the passion of head coach Cho Dong-hee and his coaching staff, who have been with the club for a long time and deliver a systematic and visionary approach to teaching at the players’ level.
Seongnam U-12 coach Cho Dong-hee said, “I’m very grateful to the players for following the program so well even though they must have been tired from back-to-back tournaments in the summer. Even after training, we had time to reinforce with the players what they lacked. This valuable time led to good results,” he reflected.

Seongnam has maintained a virtuous cycle within the club, with over 90% of the players in the 6th grade of Seongnam U-12 being promoted to Seongnam U-15. In addition, the club is holding an open test for U-12-U-10 in the second half of 2023 to select promising players who will stay with the club for the long term.
Seongnam says, “We are producing great players with both skill and character. The internal promotion rate of players has also increased, attracting a lot of attention from parents, and it is considered a team that is expected to develop youth players.
